In the near future, Jesse Wallace, long-time convict, gets a free day in the outside world after years incarcerated. While Jesse is looking to find Agnes, his mother, memories of his tragic past rushes back to him. 
On his way to the new city of Antonville, he meets Iris, who will help him stop Agnes from making a mistake, and taking a state of the art pill suppressing the capacity for compassion.
